I have not seen the Cyberster yet but could you explain where the seat buttons are that you could accidently press them with you knee while your husband is driving? I have the mk1 and the mk2 ZS and they have the seat controls on the side of the seat nearest the door.
We use Richmond Motor Group in Portsmouth and they have been pretty good over the last 3/4 years, they have a branch in Guildford but I have not used that branch.
You need to go into the settings on your laptop and phone and set up automatic updates, can save a lot of time and if you don't like an update you can always roll it back
We got one of the first facelift models due to selecting white. We got the Trophy, didn't see the point for spending the extra £500 for the connect. We had ismart from day one, maybe it was just the ones without the sunroof that did not get ismart.
The instruction manual for the LR says that you can do the same thing with the 7kW home charger. The car will take care of reducing the charge rate as it gets closer to 100% and then continue at a very low rate until the balance is complete and then stops.
If you charge to 100% each time it will finish off with a balance (if enough time available) and then it will keep your battery in peak condition I believe.
I asked in my dealers the first time one broke and they just gave it to me, second time I just ordered 20 for £4.99 on Amazon Prime, arrived next day. Had no others break since I got them lol.
Totally agree with you on that one. Although the Mk2 ZS is far better than the Mk1 in so many ways apart from the rear reversing lights/camera. We have got both models so we did a side by side test rather than from memory.
The rear camera on my mk1 is a lot better and clearer than on my wifes Trophy, cannot understand why they improved the standard of everything else and then set up the rear camera to be worse.
Hi Andy, when you consider that MG is averaging over 3,000 car sales per month then the number of fault reports is quite low. I bought the ZS Exclusive EV in 2021 and rarely got to drive it until we got my wife the Trophy LR in March 2022. I rarely get to drive the Trophy and I have had 3 years...
You have probably checked but I will say it anyway just in case. Another person on here had the same problem and it was just that he was not pushing the rubber socket covers fully in and they were stopping the door from closing enough for the latch to engage, worth a try.
We have the Mk1 ZS Exclusive and the MK2 ZS Trophy LR. They both mist up and it is easy to clear them using the demist but it is really noisy using the fan at high speed when the cars are normally so quiet plus the fan uses a lot of power. I now treat the inside of the windows with Rainex Anti...
I've left mine unlocked for 2 days outside my house by accident and nobody bothered with it. They probably think, chinese MG, who would want one lol (I do)
I went on eon next in August and it took them until December before I started getting actual readings insted of guesswork ones. I also messaged them to ask about transfering to the lower rate, checked my original sign up and there are no penalties for changing, just don't want to leave one and...
