I had my 69 plate serviced by Swindon MG in February on 30,000 miles for £313. That included 2 bulbs, pollen filter, brake fluid, washer fluid and MOT. So I'd say that's very steep I appreciate yours is higher mileage but I'd like to know how they justify that huge difference in price

Our MG5 still not allowing the battery heater to engage. Every time you tap it in display it just jumps back to off position and it's now -3! Another trip to MG garage?

I honestly don't think the sport seems to add much apart from heavier steering, as you say its plenty quick enough even in eco!

I'm finally able to give an update on this issue. It has been fixed by local MG dealer where we bought the car. Didn't get any paperwork on it so we emailed the dealer a day later and they said it was the FICM unit that was replaced. Here's their email response:-

No, it only lasted for one journey then upon restarting the next daily it was gone. Booked into garage for this wknd and getting a MG3 courtesy car- that will be 'fun' going back to ICE!
