An upbeat article about EVs in Australia and the outlook for increased uptake. MGZS EV gets a mention☺️

Came across this Indian review of the MG - it mentions the quite impressive range they seem to be able to achieve.
Considering we have similar weather in many Australian regions and as far as I know, any range over...
Some promising Australian EV sales data, but unfortunately the lack of Tesla figures and the omission of models that have an ICE equivalent model - such as MGZS EV and Kona - are causing problems. A great pity considering how much this could swing sufficient support for infrastructure...
This is some months old, but a bit of fun. i Thought you might need some, considering the cricket which I won’t mention again…:ROFLMAO:

As MG ZSEV drivers will already have realised, the true range of the car depends on multiple factors. I feel this test is a little short on info regarding the driving conditions etc. Anyway, its not really anything we didn’t know already!
I must congratulate this guy for his optimism and perseverance...

This may not be such a big deal for anyone outside Australia, but the Kia Niro hasn't hit the shops yet in Australia. So it was a little bit
exciting (this is Tasmania remember) to see one parked next to our MG in Hobart this morning. It's got Victorian plates and the new hybrid
was also parked...
This is quite cool...can you think of a piece of music or even a sound effect that suits your MG ZS EV?? I quite like the Tardis noise from Dr Who...

I’m not one to grumble about a government subsidy but this one has caught me by surprise! Nice for Victorians - will be interesting to see whether any or all of the other states follow. Not quite the current German level of AU $9950 but better than nothing.
The small print under the top photo is...
I’ve had an occasional question about the boot space in the ZS and it got me thinking - just what can you fit in there?
How many suitcases? Surfboards? Bikes? Scooters? Hay bales? Mattresses? Drum kits? Armchairs? Harpsichord?
Any suggestions regarding the best way to maximise the space might...
For those Australian owners/drivers/interested spectators, this is a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun regarding our PM's comment about EVs 'ruining the weekend'. Apparently there is even a Facebook group devoted to his anti-EV sermon - which he denies. Whoopsie.
This is quite a reasonable review from one of our leading auto journos.
it doesn’t really uncover any surprises for ZS EV owners but his mention of the battery warranty uncertainty particularly in Oz needs to be addressed...

In spite of NO government incentives and lack of choice and stock, the MG ZX EV accounted for nearly 50% of EV sales in Australia, so far this year.
Interesting figures here
Tesla figures not included....?
