access
In physical security and information security, access control (AC) is the selective restriction of access to a place or other resource, while access management describes the process. The act of accessing may mean consuming, entering, or using. Permission to access a resource is called authorization.
Locks and login credentials are two analogous mechanisms of access control.
Does anyone know where I can find the MG parts catalogue? I am looking at buying an MG that has had a minor bump and need access to part numbers. I know I can get them from the dealer, but I would prefer to cut them out and buy direct.
If anyone can advise on how to access this myself, I would...
I drive an MG ZS Trophg Connect EV. I can see what looks like a cigarette charger point but can’t figure out how to access it. I need to plug in an airpump as my tyres are all low. Anyone know how or even is a real cigarette charging point??
It’s got 12v printed on the top of the black cap.
My MG4 is too smart/complicated for me. Can someone please help with where to access settings so I can change the time? I had hoped I could leave setting the clock to the car and it would adjust to GMT from BST automatically. Thanks
Whilst charging at the Cardiff supercharger I was told by a Tesla employee that they are reducing access to the supercharger network for non-Teslas from the end of November. Including the Cardiff and Camarthen superchargers I was using on my trip.
This is due to legislation which is requiring...
We're both pensioners & have always driven SUV type cars for ease of access in & out but don't need a large car anymore , is the MG3 HYBRID far too low for us ?.
I would appreciate any opinion especially from the over 65's !
My PFL LR recently had its 2nd service and since then the heater fan has been noisy at higher speeds. I was going to check if they had fitted the new pollen filter correctly but could not work out how to get the glovebox out. The videos I have found on YouTube seem to show a different glovebox...
I have an MG ZS Ev in New Zealand. I am currently in UK for some months. I expected to be able to communicate with the car using MG iSmart but it does not work outside of NZ. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
Hello!
MG ZS EV (2021) hasn't been driven for months and battery has (unsurprisingly) died. I presume it just needs charging up again (?) however because it is dead I can't open the central locking and therefore the charging port cover. Tried a few things - emergency release cable, heating it...
A few nights ago, my front right indicator bulb seems to have blown. I was indicating to turn right, and a car was approaching with no lights on (5pm, already nearly full dark). So I flashed my headlights several times to warn them, and then a few dashboard warning lights came on.
Now every time...
Hi All, I wonder if you can help me? ... I have had this message Ikon (look's like email Ikon) appear on the top right hand corner of the screen on my MG4 Trophy, but I can't see any way to get into it / open it? ..... I suspect it might be from me sending route Info from the MG App on my phone...
Hi, after a week of owning my MG4 Trophy, I was burgled and the car was stolen along with both keys. It’s been recovered undamaged and is with the dealership for a lock change and new keys, but despite working for weeks I now can’t get the remote control functions in the iSMART app to work, so...
The driver‘s seat adjuster on my Gen 2 ZSEV Trophy has failed. Having ascertained from the online manual that the fuse in question is in the passenger compartment, I set about accessing it.
What a faff!, it is situated under the dash behind the glove box. The cover is held on by two Philips...
Hello everyone.
New here and sorry if I have missed it but is the MG iSMART app not available for my car?
It’s a 2021 exclusive pre face lift car.
Seems weird if it’s not available but maybe I am missing something?
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Derek
The handbook refers to "remove the dashboard end cover plate and lower trim panel"
Removing the panel reveals two screws holding the trim panel clips but even though I have taken them out and releasing the clips allows no real movement of the trim panel.
How do you access the fuse panel?
