chrome
Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google. It was first released in 2008 for Microsoft Windows, built with free software components from Apple WebKit and Mozilla Firefox. Versions were later released for Linux, macOS, iOS, and also for Android, where it is the default browser. The browser is also the main component of ChromeOS, where it serves as the platform for web applications.
Most of Chrome's source code comes from Google's free and open-source software project Chromium, but Chrome is licensed as proprietary freeware. WebKit was the original rendering engine, but Google eventually forked it to create the Blink engine; all Chrome variants except iOS used Blink as of 2017.As of October 2022, StatCounter estimates that Chrome has a 67% worldwide browser market share (after peaking at 72.38% in November 2018) on personal computers (PC), is most used on tablets (having surpassed Safari), and is also dominant on smartphones. With a market share of 65% across all platforms combined, Chrome is the most used web browser in the world today.Because of the success of Chrome, Google has expanded the "Chrome" brand name to other products: ChromeOS, Chromecast, Chromebook, Chromebit, Chromebox, and Chromebase.
I came across this video:
They use black vinyl wrap to cover up all the chrome trim, apart from the front badge. I'm not really one for cosmetic mods but I have to say it looks rather better than the original. I don't own an MG5 but if I did I would be rather tempted to do it to the front end.
SOLD!!
Selling this after almost 2 months use because my car insurance doesn’t allow it. I’ve spray painted the chrome part so it is now all black in color
Hi everyone,
Can any recommend any products which will protect the chrome trim around the car please? Not sure if traditional wax would be good enough?
Hi All
I bought the black badge kit from Ev accessories,
Just wondering how to remove the chrome badges
As I see the other ones stick on with 3m tape
Thanks
