comfort
Comfort (or being comfortable) is a sense of physical or psychological ease, often characterised as a lack of hardship. Persons who are lacking in comfort are uncomfortable, or experiencing discomfort. A degree of psychological comfort can be achieved by recreating experiences that are associated with pleasant memories, such as engaging in familiar activities, maintaining the presence of familiar objects, and consumption of comfort foods. Comfort is a particular concern in health care, as providing comfort to the sick and injured is one goal of healthcare, and can facilitate recovery. Persons who are surrounded with things that provide psychological comfort may be described as being "in their comfort zone". Because of the personal nature of positive associations, psychological comfort is highly subjective. The use of "comfort" as a verb generally implies that the subject is in a state of pain, suffering or affliction, and requires alleviation from that state. Where the term is used to describe the support given to someone who has experienced a tragedy, the word is synonymous with consolation or solace. However, comfort is used much more broadly, as one can provide physical comfort to someone who is not in a position to be uncomfortable. For example, a person might sit in a chair without discomfort, but still find the addition of a pillow to the chair to increase their feeling of comfort. Something that provides this type of comfort, which does not seek to relieve hardship, can also be referred to as being "comfy".
Hi all.
Just been offered a Marvel R Comort brand new....for a great price....almost seems too good to be true! :) Really like the styling and it certainly looks different. Always had quirky cars....years of Saabs and feel this fits the bill.
What are the differences between them? I think the...
Finding the seats in my MG4 SE LR a little uncomfortable on trips over 100 miles.
Had anyone got any recommendations for seat cushions for the front seats?
Had the mg5 for about 2 months and find the leather seat rather hard and difficult to get comfortable in. My left butt gets a dull pain from driving for >30 mins. Does anyone else experience the same problem?
Hi! is this consumption normal in this month? When i drive i see the consumption above 20kWh/100km for a few km. After that the number normally drops below 20 like 14. Is this because of battery tempature is low at startup?

I am currently driving a Toyota Corolla and like the way it drives but the wife finds it a bit low to the ground. So recently I took a test drive in a Yaris Cross and a MG3 over the same route. First was the Yaris Cross. The first thing I noticed was how harsh and loud the engine was. Then...
Has anyone tried taller tyres on the MG5? I have a FL.
I was wondering about putting all seasons, in a slightly bigger size, perhaps 215/60/r17, 215/55/r17, or even 225/55/r17. The aim would be to improve comfort, and to fill up the arches a little more. The current wheel tyre combo looks a...
Hello everyone,
I drive a 2023 ZS EV Standard Comfort 5d 130kW and noticed something I would like to compare.
Could someone who drives the same model look up what it says in on their car here?
I'm just confused about the part where it says "LUX" since I do not own the "Luxury Model".

Hello everyone. I'm the owner of a Comfort MG4. MG4 comfort was sold with 2 different versions in Turkey. While the first version has a temperature indicator, there is no such thing in the 2nd version I bought. Does the vehicle not have the ability to measure the outside temperature? Or is it...
So, my wife happened to mention a couple of weeks ago that she'd like a pad for the MG4 seatbelt as she finds it a little uncomfortable.
I was lucky enough to find a pair of these on Etsy at a very reasonable price.
Thanks Keith ...
Does anyone else find their left knee feels uncomfortable resting against the hard surface of the structure between the two front seats? It is worse for me in cold weather; that is the ache begins sooner.
This only happens to me on longer journeys when I prefer to lean my left knee. Perhaps the...
Hi everyone
So far loving the 5 and learning to live with an ev, it’s only been a few days.
I am heading to wales at the end of the week, couple of hundred miles each way.
Not worries about charging and range but I am having a couple of seat issues.
I get a wee bit of discomfort in my left...
Hi all. Has anyone had the Comfort 2 update for the Mk1 applied by their dealer? If so how much did they charge? My dealer (Bristol St Chesterfield) had promised it free of charge, but now the car is with them they are asking for £460 to apply the update. They say that price was given to them...
Is it just me?
I have tried million different adjustments in the seat but couldn’t get the head rest in a comfortable position. At any position, it always keeps my head pushed little forward than i would like putting a strain on my neck. I would be more than happy without one but it’s illegal i...
The Turning circle. The personal comforts. The feel of driving the car. The acceleration. The Cruise control. The wiper speed reduction when stopped at the lights. External lights make locating in the carpark easier. The modern look inside and out. The soft headrest. The blindspot indication.
After 14 months and 30,000 miles I'm swapping my MG5 Trophy for a Skoda Enyaq. Its a company car and the Enyaq was always my first choice but unfortunately as I placed my order it was removed from the options list.
The MG5 has been fine, really reliable, well appointed, good performance and...
Hi all. I've found the headrest is making me push my head forward to the point I notice and get uncomfortable. Can it be rotated/changed easily? Never had this issue in a previous car.
Hello everyone,
