Courtesy (from the word courteis, from the 12th century) is gentle politeness and courtly manners. In the Middle Ages in Europe, the behaviour expected of the nobility was compiled in courtesy books.

    Got an MG3 as a courtesy car today

    My HS PHEV was in getting some damage repaired that someone else caused, and I was given an MG3. Inside I was pleasantly surprised by the two screens with all the infotainment etc, very similar to the HS really. It was a 1.5 petrol and only a 5 speed gearbox which I don't think is good enough...
