driving experience
The Audi Driving Experience is a national racing-track-based driving tuition and education program initiated by Audi in 1983. Its aim is to educate drivers by using theory and physical "hands-on" tuition, primarily involving the complexities of modern powertrains and chassis electronics found on virtually all of today's cars, with an emphasis on its own Audi cars.
The Audi Driving Experience includes emergency maneuvers using Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) systems, theory and practice of safe high-speed handling, and helps demonstrate and educate the abilities of Audi‘s trademark Quattro four-wheel drive system. These activities are all carried out away from public roads and highways.
AUDI AG provides all of the vehicles at each facility.
I've just got my car adapted today and to just see how it felt I took it round the block. I've not been able to test drive before purchase.
I was wondering what everyones experience with the throttle is on the MG4 Trophy?
It felt like I had to put my foot 1/4 (possibly more) of travel down to...
Beautiful day up here in Cumbria today so went out for a drive in our MG3 Trophy , stuck her in Sports mode and hit the country roads. Fantastic performance all round couldn’t fault the drive or the handling.
I know it has a few niggles like software and radio not turning off etc but they are...
Tried snow mode today as there was a light covering on our road and I'm loving it. It's so smooth on take off and unlike eco mode, the brakes don't feel soggy. The regen being less severe worked great on a steep hill I go down where, in normal mode, I usually have to press the accelerator a bit...
Like many others, I expect, who ordered the Xpower I gave some weight to the magazine reviews but more weight to my own test drive and desire to indulge the kid inside me.
One theme in the UK motoring press is that while the car is a rocket on a straight road, classic hatches such as your...
Picked the car up this morning and travelled the 40 kms back home on mixed driving. Used 22kw per 100km (normal) energy s or around 8.8 kw or 4.5 kms/kw , we live in a hilly area and got stuck behind slow traffic so I probably expected better, but hey time will tell. With the hills we get lots...
Firstly apologies for not being on for so long , didn’t need to as my car has been ok .
Ive done 4750 miles since last October since picking my LR Excite up from Richmond Portsmouth ( got 1st service on 4 September at their Bognor Regis site )
I still love the car and all its quwerks and the...
Had family over visiting recently, so we've been doing the Montana-Sofia mountain pass a couple of times, and have to say the ZS is one of the best cars I've driven on the road. (Dare say there would be better electric cars for it), over the years I've driven the road in everything from Puegoet...
SO, it's been two weeks!
I LOVE my ZE EV mk1.
Having moved from a little 1.0L Citroen C1 (also sold as the Aygo and 107/8) the amount of power at my disposal is a joy. I'm finding myself driving in 'eco' mode with KERS at maximum and being very very happy. Being able to nip out at junctions...
Has anyone experienced the car accelerating fast without warning?
I’ve just tried to park, took my foot off the accelerator and the car shot forward. Just checked and it has hit the parking bollard, denting the front bumper a little.
Did the ACC kick in?
Felt it did this earlier too.
Another...
Tomorrow will be three weeks since we collected Goth Leo, our MG4 SE LR. We have already done nearly 1400 miles. This forum was very helpful as we stepped up to make the decision whether or not to buy Goth Leo, but there was one aspect of it that I was aware of, and that is, in general, folk...
I have recently taken delivery of the new MG4 Trophy, and have noticed sometimes when driving on a clear road, the car will suddenly and sharply veers to the left, which can be felt in the steering wheel and raises some concerns, has anyone else experienced this, and if it is a fault or a...
Having just returned from a 320 mile round trip (160 each way) in my new (week old) Trophy on R30, I experienced the following:
1. Using the touch screen whilst driving is a bit like shooting an arrow whilst drunk. When I did hit the correct area on screen, sometimes it responded, sometimes...
Have my MG4 Trophy for a month now and I'm loving it more the more I drive it. Nevertheless, there are small annoyances that hurts a little the experience of driving it:
Bluetooth pairing: this was really not good. Never worked properly. But changed the Bluetooth car name and now it's working...
1. Overtaking slow ICE cars uphill because it still comes out at less than 5p per mile ?
2. System resetting the drive mode so other half doesn’t realise I’ve been ragging it in sport mode ?
Over to you…
