fuse box
A distribution board (also known as panelboard, breaker panel, electric panel, DB board or DB box) is a component of an electricity supply system that divides an electrical power feed into subsidiary circuits while providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in a common enclosure. Normally, a main switch, and in recent boards, one or more residual-current devices (RCDs) or residual current breakers with overcurrent protection (RCBOs) are also incorporated.
In the United Kingdom, a distribution board designed for domestic installations is known as a consumer unit.
Does anyone know where the fuse box is located inside for connecting a dash cam
Went on a huge search yesterday and couldn’t find it. Removed both panels underneath the glove box and steering wheel and it’s not there.
I know sometimes you take the side panel off with the door open but it’s...
Hi. Just tried to fit dash cam to the fuses in the fuse box under the steering wheel and the existing fuses have 3 pins whereas on every other car I have had there were only 2 pins. Is there a fuse with 3 pins on 1 side and slots for a 2 pins on the other. Anyone else had trouble even finding...

Was this bit of the car designed by the Work Experience boy?
Is MG so confident with its quality that it knows a fuse will never need replacing?
Is it to dissuade DIY retrofitting of accessories eg dash cams so that owners are more likely to go to their dealer? (Unlikely as MG don’t make any...
Hi all, I'm fitting a dashcam to my wife's MG4 and have seen the excellent post and thread on this forum, which says the cabin fusebox is "by the driver's knee". I've removed the panel under the steering wheel, checked behind the door pillar cover, lifted the panel next to the driver's left...
The handbook refers to "remove the dashboard end cover plate and lower trim panel"
Removing the panel reveals two screws holding the trim panel clips but even though I have taken them out and releasing the clips allows no real movement of the trim panel.
How do you access the fuse panel?
I expected to have to unscrew a panel or two to access the fuse box located in the passenger footwell so was surprised to find the fuses in full view without even a lid on the box!
Curiously the manual refers to 'removing the closing panel below the glove box to gain access to the fuse box' so...
