pan roof
A pantile is a type of fired roof tile, normally made from clay. It is S-shaped in profile and is single lap, meaning that the end of the tile laps only the course immediately below. Flat tiles normally lap two courses.A pantile-covered roof is considerably lighter than a flat-tiled equivalent and can be laid to a lower pitch.Pantiles are used in eastern coastal parts of England and Scotland including Norfolk, East Yorkshire, County Durham, Perthshire, Angus, Lothian and Fife, where they were first imported from the Netherlands in the early 17th century. They are rarely used in western England or western Scotland, except in Bristol and the Somerset town of Bridgwater.Pantiles are best used in sheltered places or areas which are not subject to harsh weather conditions.
Hi there.
I’ve had my new zs EV for about 3 weeks now (2024 plate) and the pan roof has starting making a squeaky noise when opening.
I’ve checked the rails it runs along and they looks dirty and likely i need of lubricating.
Is there a specific type of lubricant I should be using to resolve...

Obviously, the Pan Roof fell off the spec sheet months ago now...but has anyone actually seen one without it?
Every new one on Autotrader seems to have it. Are they therefore getting delivered with them even though the buyer wasn't expecting it and the lack of a Pan Roof is more of a myth
