rear
In automotive design, an RR, or rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout places both the engine and drive wheels at the rear of the vehicle. In contrast to the RMR layout, the center of mass of the engine is between the rear axle and the rear bumper. Although very common in transit buses and coaches due to the elimination of the drive shaft with low-floor buses, this layout has become increasingly rare in passenger cars.
Hi folks,
I was just about to plug my car in ready for a journey tomorrow, and I noticed two parts of the left rear brake plastic were damaged. The damage itself almost looks like a stone has come up and hit the light cluster but upon inspection the damage is internal and not external. See the...
Given the propensity for plastic headlights to go bad, the nature of the rear light bar may well go the same way. I know there are old school tools on restoring lights, but they all need repeated treatment, and my wife’s previous Aygo was so deeply damaged I gave up and fitted new units (lens...
Hi
I'm looking for the part number for OUTER BRAKE LIGHT PASSENGER SIDE N/S LEFT SIDE for MG5 SW EV 2020.
Or if anyone has a suggestion where I can purchase one that would be great also. I have looked all over the place but can't seem to source one.
Many thanks
Hi everyone. I've just noticed that the lower RHS reflector/fog light (not too sure what it is) has a large crack right through it.
Are they hard to get hold of second hand? And can it be swapped out easily?
Many thanks in advance 👍
In case others have noticed that the bottom three lines of their rear demister doesn't work, it is because that the last three lines are actually the aerial for the fm/dab radio and not part of the demister.
I found this out by phoning the service dept of the garage I bought the car from...
Hi all, I bought some black MG badges that you stick on over chrome ones. The front one was very simple however I foolishly didn't check the back one before ordering and it's actually not accessible at all due to the plastic cover like the image attached.
Has anyone been able to get to this...
Hi everyone, into my 4th month of owning my MG EV 4 Trophy now and wanted to ask has anyone else had an issue with condensation in the rear light along the tailgate as mine appears full of water currently?
Just had another rear spring go on my Gen2 MGZSEV Trophy LR.
Last one I had hassle to get it replaced under warranty and had to wait six weeks
waiting time frame. This time it was replaced within two days.
However only one can be replaced under warranty but mechanic has recommended replacing in...
Someone decided to drive into the back of my MG4 and then drive off without exchanging details 😢.
I am assuming that the insurance repairer will go for the replace option and that will gobble up all my excess - I went for a large one to reduce cost.
Planning to get some alternate quotes before...
Hi all!
We just took delivery of our replacement MG5 and it has a ‚bump‘ in the footwell behind the driver’s seat (right). It’s hard to capture, so I took a video.
Has anyone experienced this before or happens to know what‘s underneath? Would be nice if it’s as simple as lodging something back...
Does anyone know what these red covers (?) are called or where I can purchase them?
They look helpful for rear seat passengers to find and fix their seatbelts?

Hi All, I've noticed a knocking noise coming from the rear of the car. It's hard to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from but it happens when going over bumps or quickly steering left and right.
I have removed everything from the boot of the car (including puncture kit and foam), the parcel...
