route
In road transportation in the United States, a special route is a road in a numbered highway system that diverts a specific segment of related traffic away from another road. They are featured in many highway systems; most are found in the Interstate Highway System, U.S. highway system, and several state highway systems. Each type of special route possesses generally defined characteristics and has a defined relationship with its parent route. Typically, special routes share a route number with a dominant route, often referred as the "parent" or "mainline", and are given either a descriptor which may be used either before or after the route name, such as Alternate or Business, or a letter suffix that is attached to the route number. For example, an alternate route of U.S. Route 1 may be called "Alternate U.S. Route 1", "U.S. Route 1 Alternate", or "U.S. Route 1A". Occasionally, a special route will have both a descriptor and a suffix, such as U.S. Route 1A Business.
Hi I got 2024 MG4 trophy. I stopped using the navigation system because I put my home destination in and it took me miles out the way no where near my home has anyone else had this problem.
Taking my MG ZS EV almost 200 miles loaded with 2 adult sized kids and baggage for the week. I would appreciate recommendations for charging because ZappMap didn't look encouraging and the holidays booked now! Thank you in anticipation. P.S I'm a seasoned EV user who knows to lay off the aircon...
Hi everyone I'd really appreciate some advice. I've an MG4 SR and can get about 150 miles at 3.0 m.KWh. Next week I'll be travelling from wolverhampton to Bournemouth, about 180 miles.

Absolutely stunning.
Question,
I’m driving up to Scotland soon, does the cars Navigation route charging stops along the way ?
I’m aware of ABRP and linking it up with an OBD dongle to get live data, however just wondering if the car does this ?
Thanks

I'm working on re-planning my first long EV journey through France, and what I want to do is be able to plan my route - which I know well - to incorporate my preferred stops and chargers, without being told where else I need (but don't, in fact!) to stop. I then want to submit this to the car...
I never had the necessity to look at the elevation profile of a route unless I go on a bike ride. Now that I have an EV, I would like to analyze the elevation profile of different routes suggested by Apple/Google maps and choose one accordingly based on how economical it would be.
Do any of you...
I was looking at the Australian specs pdf and it says EV trip planning and charger routing coming October 2023.
It's for the Essence 64 and long range 77 models only, i guess the models with satnav.
We drove Warwick to Legoland Windsor and back yesterday in our MG4 Trophy .
ABRP advised me it was a total of 167 miles, and that starting at 100%, we'd get home on 5%.
Or we could charge in Bicester for 7 minutes, adding 20 minutes to the total journey time, to get home on 12%.
What actually...
Hi I'll be driving up to Manchester Airport on Saturday . Any advice for the best route for charging . It's about 200 miles or 170 miles if I drive up through Mid Wales , so I should only need to stop once ( depending on my old man bladder :) )
