Why does my MG4 display “Sport” in the small screen and then in the large screen several seconds later it reverts to snow? whilst still maintaining sport characteristics?

Just wondering how XP owners have found driving their cars in the snow this weekend ? I've not had to go out yet but our local road is covered in a fair few inches and cars have been sliding around a bit ! IIRC the AWD only works in forward gear.

As per thread title, interested to find out if the Xpower used AWD in Snow mode. I live at the top of a long hill which means that nearly every year we end up having to abandon the car at the bottom and walk up. Hoping that AWD might help.
