    Sport/Snow

Why does my MG4 display “Sport” in the small screen and then in the large screen several seconds later it reverts to snow? whilst still maintaining sport characteristics?

"snow" mode in cities without snow? Like mud maybe?

I live in ecuador and there's no snow in here. So why would i use that mode...? Ive been thinking what makes that mod different than custom - setting as driver prefers - over this snow mode? Does it do something clever? I may run someday into mud or sand. Snow mode would do anything or what...

Snow and Forward Collision Assistance System

This morning I was driving on the motorway in quite heavy snow. Al of a sudden this symbol of the Forward Collision Assistance System Indicator popped up. This means one of the two supporting systems wasn't working. As the camera worked, it must have been the radar. Did any of you ever...

    XPower in the Snow

Just wondering how XP owners have found driving their cars in the snow this weekend ? I've not had to go out yet but our local road is covered in a fair few inches and cars have been sliding around a bit ! IIRC the AWD only works in forward gear.

    Driving in snow

So, nice bit of snow tonight, went out for a drive with summer tyres (some fairly low on thread) and the car was immaculate, top marks ❄️🙂 - until I had to go up the slope on my drive to park the car and top it up for tomorrow ... There was no space to gain a bit of speed and continue up the...

    Snow Driving

This, ZS, is the first car for many years that I do not have winter tyres for. Today I looked out and thought that the snow wasn’t too bad. So preheat on, not as good as my Outlander but still warmer car to get into. I was disappointed with the performance in probably less than 3”. My...

    Slippery when wet

I had a situation the other day, pulling out on a slope onto the highway in the damp. Put my foot down, a bit of skidding, then no power … Its like the car decided to go into snow mode ?? It was actually unsafe, the car wouldn’t accelerate when I needed it to. What I really wanted was a rally...

Snow foam mark on MG4 plastic panel

just washed the car with some snow foam, the snow foam left some nasty marks on the side plastic panel. Anyone has suggestion to clean it off?

    Goth Leo in the snow

Well, that was an interesting morning. TL;DR - I'm glad we got the all-season tyres we did late last year. There didn't seem to be much snow this morning, but I had to take a parcel the 6 miles to the post office. There are several steep sections in the hills along the single-track road around...

    Front wipers not working

been using my parents’s 2022 marvel R performance the past 2 months. The past week its been snowing alot and once when I was scraping the snow off, I left the front window out and just used the wipers since the snow wasn’t frozen on. What I did not put into thought was the amount of snow that...

    Snow tyres for MG ZS

Hi guys, I have a 2022 updated MG ZS EV, I’m looking for a set of snow tyres, with rims. Where’s the best place to look? Has anyone bought a new set? I’m not sure where to start really, I’ve never bought a complete set of wheels before, so I dont know if it’s something you can do on the...

Does snow mode in Xpower use AWD?

As per thread title, interested to find out if the Xpower used AWD in Snow mode. I live at the top of a long hill which means that nearly every year we end up having to abandon the car at the bottom and walk up. Hoping that AWD might help.
