Hi newbie here Hoping to buy a ZSEV soon..Second hand..Looking at a 69 Plate with 63,000 miles...SOH..Is 89%....Is this a normal loss or is there anything to be concerned about...Thanks
I have seen various threads on this and bought car scanner pro & the vgate obdii as recommended. I have a ZS EV facelift long range.
With the correct profile selected I don't see the SOC , SOH, max cell voltage or min cell voltage in the dashboard .
However if I select them in "Live Data" they...
Just had my first service done at 12 months and 10500 miles. A battery health check was done and it said 88%. That was actually battery health not SoC as it was at 85% before I dropped it off and 80% when I collected it.
It was checked off as good and I’m not overly concerned about it but it...
Should I be worried?
2nd gen, standard range, 20k mileage.
I rarely fast charge, and don't top up daily.
Looking around here, everyone's seems to be in the low to mid 90s at a similar time/mileage.
Has anyone discovered a reliable way of reading the SOH in the MG4?
I have a VPeake ODB dongle.
Can't believe that MG has not provided this figure natively through the Infotainment system.
My Previous 7 years older BMW i3, did.
Hi, i checked my car SOH with CarScanner app. Its reporting 98.2% after 6.2k miles (10,000 km).
As i saw here at this milage most of the cars still have 100% (except in the zs ev forum). My guess is that my car was at storage at 100% in 40°C for several months at the dealer before i bought the...
Had a little play with an ancient OBD dongle I've had knocking about the shed and found 'Car Scanner' now had an MG4 Profile.
Doesn't cover very much but it did give me a State Of Health (SOH) reading for the battery.
The car was built 1 year ago and I know six months isn't a long time (my...
Hi,
I'm new to MG, specifically the MG4. Haven't taken delivery yet (SE LR) and am coming from a 30kwh kia soul.
My question is whether or not there is a specific phone app to use with an OBDII dongle to monitor the vehicle status?
From what I can work out on my travels trawling around the...
I have a 71 plate MG5 long range and covered 62000 miles in 2 years. Just had 4th service and was told my battery SOH is now 94%.
I just wondered if anyone else has SOH for similar mileage/ age and if anyone thinks this is good or bad?
Thanks
I know its been mentioned in other threads - But unless I've missed something - Android phones are well covered re options for Apps - But who has an iPhone and has an app that can show SOH c/o that iPhone ...
So yesterday my MG5 got carted off to the dealership on the back of an AA van for what appears to be a fault with the charging of the 12V battery.
My 21 plate ZS has the 12V battery gauge on dash and that's currently showing just over half full - what are people's experiences with this gauge...
