2nd service due soon and I want to get the clicking steering column fixed. I have checked the warranty and it appears to be covered for the full 7 years. Has anyone experienced dealers trying to apply one of the shorter validity exclusions?

Anyone experienced a rattle from steering column. I can make it away by unlocking the steering rake lever but comes back when I lock it again. Apart from these rattles round the car genuinely content with it so would be chuffed if I can find them and fix them.

Is the base of the steering column normally exposed on this model? See attached. I imagine debris from your feet can get into that space, am I missing some covering? Thanks.

Hi when I turn the steering wheel I occasionally get a click. Also if I put oressure on oneside or other of the steering wheel. Seems to come from the column near the steering wheel height adjustment. Is this normal ?
