temperature

Temperature is a physical quantity that expresses quantitatively the perceptions of hotness and coldness. Temperature is measured with a thermometer.
Thermometers are calibrated in various temperature scales that historically have relied on various reference points and thermometric substances for definition. The most common scales are the Celsius scale with the unit symbol °C (formerly called centigrade), the Fahrenheit scale (°F), and the Kelvin scale (K), the latter being used predominantly for scientific purposes. The kelvin is one of the seven base units in the International System of Units (SI).
Absolute zero, i.e., zero kelvin or −273.15 °C, is the lowest point in the thermodynamic temperature scale. Experimentally, it can be approached very closely but not actually reached, as recognized in the third law of thermodynamics. It would be impossible to extract energy as heat from a body at that temperature.
Temperature is important in all fields of natural science, including physics, chemistry, Earth science, astronomy, medicine, biology, ecology, material science, metallurgy, mechanical engineering and geography as well as most aspects of daily life.

    Inconsistent heat from HVAC

    MG4 SE LR 2023. Apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere (likely). Often set temp to say 24C and auto, cabin warms reasonably. Drop to 23C and the cabin goes cold. Increase to 24C and the cabin stays cold. Really poor output from the Hvac. Anyone else seeing this?

    Cabin overheat protection?

    Hi all, recently picked up a mg4 Se lr. I also have a Tesla model 3. The cabin overheat is a great feature and wondering if this is available in the mg4? Parked the mg4 outside in the sun and wow it was hot in there when I got back to it a few hours later. Thanks.

    Immediate Range Drop

    Ny daughter’s MG4 SR is almost 2 years old, fully charged it reads 405km range, within 10km it drops to 335km range. Battery SoH is 92% and outside temperature 25°C (we’re in Thailand). Is this normal behaviour? It didn’t do this a year ago.

    Temperature control in car

    Hi, I’m having a problem getting a comfortable temperature in the car. I set the control to 20,21 or 22 degrees and on all settings it gets too hot and if I manually lower the temperature it gets too cold is anyone else having the same issues.
