tyre pressures

A tire-pressure gauge, or tyre-pressure gauge, is a pressure gauge used to measure the pressure of tires on a vehicle. Tire-pressure gauges can be used both professionally and casually and come in many different sizes.Since tires are rated for specific loads at certain pressure, it is important to keep the pressure of the tire at the optimal amount. The precision of a typical mechanical gauge as shown is ±3 psi (21 kPa). Higher precision gauges with ±1 psi (6.9 kPa) uncertainty can also be obtained.

    Correct Tyre Pressures?

I have read mixed opinions on Tyre Pressures but wanted to ask what is the recommended / correct values PSi for the XPOWER? I’ve read that slightly over inflating helps with the Vibration / Electric Hum at higher speeds? Appreciate anyone’s views on this ☺️✨

    Correct tyre pressures

Hi to all....just a quick one. For the first time since purchasing the car in Feburary this year, I'm going to add pressure to the tyres....they are a bit low near 2.4 bar. I have not had any pressure warnings yet. Settings should be 2.5bar/37 psi all round. Yesterday my dealership advised me...

    Low pressure tyre warning

    Tyre Pressures and Pumps

Two combined topics, if you please. One, I used up the puncture repair fluid within the first week. (see previous post). I don't intend to buy a refill after reading the comments on these forums, but does the compressor bit still work as a pump and pressure check. Two, the pressures recommended...

    TPMS fault

I have an MG5 long range. Recently the TPMS system registered a failure. There was no pre-warning. MG said it would be the tyre pressures. I wasn't so sure. £105 later they said they'd cleared the fault codes and inflated the tyres- minimally. This has failed twice more in quick succession. MG...
