A visor (also spelled vizor) is a surface that protects the eyes, such as shading them from the sun or other bright light or protecting them from objects.
Nowadays many visors are transparent, but before strong transparent substances such as polycarbonate were invented, visors were opaque like a mask.

    Sun visors

    Has anyone noticed a problem with the sun visor being too small? They don't come down low enough, they are not wide enough, and allow gaps st each side. The way the visor is designed also means it has an awkward sloping angle to it. Today I am going to investigate those sun visor extentions...
