wheel size

Hi! I tried changing to winter wheels today on my MG4 trophy extended range. The winter wheels are 215/50 R17 size and seem to be pressing down on the calipers in the front. Is this size too small? Manual tells me it should be good. Thanks in advance.

Do you think the wheels from a mg5 will fit a mg4? Spec of the mg5 wheel is 17x7,5 et 45 (215/50r17) and the mg4 is 17x7 et51 I think?

MG5 Trophy - on checking the tyre websites (e.g. black circles and asda) I put in my reg no and it says that the correct tyres are 215/55/17. However, the tyres fitted to my car are 215/50/17 - Premitra 5. Is this correct, and what size are your 17 inch wheels fitted with?

hi everyone, I'm looking at getting new tyres, as the original ones are on their way out. I would like to get slightly lower profile than the original ones - 55 instead of 60. Does anyone know if this could cause any issues, since the the wheels have the sensors for the pressure etc? Thanks!

Does the MG5 "get-you-home" spare wheel fit the MG4, because I'll keep my MG5 spare to carry in my MG4 when it arrives?
