windscreen
The windshield (North American English) or windscreen (Commonwealth English) of an aircraft, car, bus, motorbike, truck, train, boat or streetcar is the front window, which provides visibility while protecting occupants from the elements. Modern windshields are generally made of laminated safety glass, a type of treated glass, which consists of, typically, two curved sheets of glass with a plastic layer laminated between them for safety, and bonded into the window frame.
Motorcycle windshields are often made of high-impact polycarbonate or acrylic plastic.
Can anyone tell me how to lift the washer nozzles on my MG4? The passenger side nozzle in particular is too low and liberally sprays below the windscreen. I don't want to bother the dealership, but I don't seem to be able to adjust it myself. There appears to be a slot on the nozzle - does this...
My two year old MG4 SE has started leaking, with water dripping from the seam between the drivers side pillar and headliner. There's no visible damage to the door seal or windscreen, so I suspect the sealant has failed on the windscreen. Has anyone had similar issues, and success getting this...
Hi if you get errors on dashboard saying things forward collision limited due to weather conditions etc..then make sure you clean the camera at the top of windscreen outside of course as this can get dirty quite easy..was worried when things were flashing and failing for me but cleaning it has...
Just filled windscreen washer with some premixed washer fluid for winter and noticed some sort of dark congealed gunk going in. I looked in container and it’s like globular frog spawn moody stuff. I’m worried now that this would block my washer tubes and jets and lead to a whole handling. It...
I've got a 64 essence in Australia. Usually when washing my car I flip the windscreen wipers up, to wash the windscreen. The wiper on the driver side wont flip up as it catches on the bonnet. Is this a design flaw or a cunning Chinese joke?
Hi, I am finding that, when on auto, the windscreen wipers work intermittently even when it isn't raining, so I have to turn them off. When on auto I also have to adjust the speed according to the amount it is raining. Is this normal? Thanks.
Has anyone replaced windscreen washer jets either oem or aftermarket? Mine have always been poor. I asked garage adjust them last service but they failed miserably.
We don't need them yet but has anybody found a source for these yet? Have had a search online and nearly all the suppliers don't seem to know our MG3 Hybrids even exist!
A quick question about the MG3's windscreen wipers:
Is it a 19 mm top lock system? Another fastening system? J Hook? Bayonet ? Pinch tab ?
What are the dimensions? ---> I have found : 55 & 48 cm
Thank you for your answers.

Just a quick warning about the front windscreen wipers . . . . DON'T lift the passenger side wiper up off the windscreen to wash the windscreen or to change a wiper blade, it will catch the bonnet and either damage the wiper arm or chip some paint off the back edge of the bonnet.
Wiper catches...
I love my MG4 Xpower
I've had little to no issues since getting it in December!
But i bet you all share my irritation and frustration with this lol
If you have your windscreen wipers on auto when its been raining as soon as you sit on the seat after its been raining they come on before you have...
I noticed this yesterday as I was cleaning the windcreen. One of the two shafts that turns the windscreen wipers had rust on at least the visible part
I am wondering why and why on only one?
And if anyone else has spotted rust in the same place.
The car, a Trophy Estate, is 17 months old.
Hey
Now the sun has finally decided to shows its face in England I am noticing a lot of reflection from the dash on the windscreen.
Has anyone found a good cheap priced cover to go over the dash to minimise this?
Many thanks
So I have two issues
1. Noise from the window over 30mph
2. Vibration around 70mph
What do I do if they say they are just normal for cars.
'the wind noise is from the motor it is normal. We have a chance of making it worse. It is a mass produced car but these issues are not a fault'
'the...
