wing
A wing is a type of fin that produces lift while moving through air or some other fluid. Accordingly, wings have streamlined cross-sections that are subject to aerodynamic forces and act as airfoils. A wing's aerodynamic efficiency is expressed as its lift-to-drag ratio. The lift a wing generates at a given speed and angle of attack can be one to two orders of magnitude greater than the total drag on the wing. A high lift-to-drag ratio requires a significantly smaller thrust to propel the wings through the air at sufficient lift.
Lifting structures used in water include various foils, such as hydrofoils. Hydrodynamics is the governing science, rather than aerodynamics. Applications of underwater foils occur in hydroplanes, sailboats and submarines.
Hi all, I'm struggling with a neck injury and finding it difficult in seeing oncoming traffic from the drivers side. Pretty sure an enhanced mirror mod would help, any ideas? Obv's something that fits my 21 MG Ev Es
I have noticed several times now that if I am in heavy traffic on the motorway after a while both amber lights on both wing mirrors stay on and do not turn off when there are no cars in either side lane
They do go off when you stop and turn the car off and work as normal until heavy traffic...
Hi All,
Ive a 72 plate MG4 Trophy. Does anyone know how to fold the wing mirrors in while driving forward at a slow speed? The road I attempt this on during my commute is a tight 2 way road. I use the wing mirror controller toggle and pushing that down folds the mirrors in while I go over a...
Has anyone else had this issue? Seems to be happening more often with my MY21 ZSEV.
If I give the driver's side mirror a whack and re-lock it usually folds, but I wouln't think that the best solution!
