“How to make my heading bold”

I don’t do much typing but how to make the heading or text bold please? It will be so easy but I’m just a oldie so please help. I realise this post is not EV related but I just feel stupid at not being able to sort it out.
I made my previous posts heading bold by using ‘paste’ from a Bold Text Generator site that I use sometimes.

What do you need it in bold as makes it look like you are shouting ?

The title of the thread is automatically bold for all users when the thread has unread posts in it.

Seriously though, there are codes you can put in your comments that change attributes. I don't know if they work on headings, give me a minute and I'll have a look,


So, had a look and it doesn't look like there is an option to format headings.

I don't think @bwanamdevu is talking about the thread title, just how to format the body in which case there are both formatting and heading options.

I took "the heading" as being the title and the text as being the text. I have discovered that the title isn't formattable, apart from caps and lower case. If he comes back I can walk him through text formatting.

I thought he meant the title which is bold until you read it.
