Figured it would useful to stick fingers to keyboard to note my experiences of a Trophy LR as we've owned it for 12 months.
It's on just over 11k miles and has just had a service, we've done a round trip to Scotland and back (1100 miles) and despite the usual charger carnage at peak times on the motorway network the trip was smooth.
Pros, it still drives nicely, is fairly efficient (average of 338wh / mile this year over 4k miles) and comfortable with a reasonable amount of space in the boot - overall a pleasant experience.
Got the dealer to upgrade the head unit to a later software version (R59), newer A/C controls) that's fixed some of my issues with the poor design of the A/C page interface and a shortcut to the LKA off. That's also fixed the constant need to re-pair my phone via bluetooth which was another annoyance.
Interior is wearing well although I did fit the 'coffin liner' type floor mats and have recently got a better set of plastic (XPE) floormats (AliExpress XPE Floor Mats RHD) that have some edge profile from Aliexpress, £65, annoyingly the rubber style with the sides on them are still in LHD/ 'left rudder' only.
Paint has picked up a few chips from motorway use, windscreen has also been on the receiving end of 2 stone chips and unlike the E208 that preceded the MG4 it's not eating front tyres every 10k.
Service experience with the dealer (Waylands, Oxford) was good as they addressed the head unit issue and the service was quick.
Cons, not saving my driving settings or being able to apply a default, I'd like it to start in eco mode and energy saving selected with LKA off, just got a 2017 BMW i3 and I've been able to go in and re-code that to start in Eco Pro mode, it's just a faff to wait whilst the car boots up to achieve this. Adaptive cruise control brakes too aggressively with steering angle, a small steering input on an A road results in the drivetrain power being dumped which in regen mode 3 is pretty lumpy - works great on a motorway though!
The weird A/C rattle from the pump has never been resolved to my satisfaction, I still think it's not supposed to make that racket.
Had odd satnav freezes in use, don't know if that will still be the case now the head unit has been upgraded.
Got a couple of rattles coming from each front door card, depends on speed and road surface and isn't hugely noticeable.
The rear electric window disable having to be set on each time is another annoyance, again minor but surely a button swap would fix it!
Overall the car is doing everything I wanted it to, the software isn't perfect and definitely could be better with a couple of tweaks but it's been a positive experience overall.
