2023 Mg5 LR alarm suddenly going off with abnormal intrusion txt

Hi all

I have. 2023 mg5 long-range and the alarm has started to go off the last 2 days...normally within 20mins of locking..

Tried opening closing all windows doors multiple times... Tried replacing fob batteries and tried cleaning the boot latch....

Car is pristine and low mileage so am assuming a software glitch ..any ideas

Do you have an OBD dongle plugged in? There have been problems with the ZSEV with dongles causing the car alarm to activate when the car is left locked.

Thanks for the quick reply.. not one dongle plugged in...the car is as it was when bought...no additional plugged in devices or wires.

Try the usual ‘hard reset’, disconnect the 12V aux for a couple of minutes (10mm spanner required)
