Prior to my first service I noted the battery mileage charged to only 31 at 100%. The service agent said 'they do that', BS I thought. Apart from showing 32 miles once since it remains at 31. any ideas why?

When I had my Hs PHEV it would show 31 miles from time to time and after a while I stop worrying about this

Batteries degrade when using. Going from 32 miles to 31 miles range is normal. nothing wrong with it. My 2023 phev started off at 62 kms ev range, now its at 61kms ev range so its dropped 1km in 2.5 years, Pretty good statistic, and it gets charged to full everyday
:)

Glad for you ....I had done less than 4000 miles in less than a year, so unlikely to have been that particulary as we are noe three years on and it remains the same 31 miles with the odd return to 32. Not a big deal but thank you for the response

The mechanical is correct, they all do it. Slight battery degradation drops from the 32 miles initially and shows 31 miles. Mine did it at 6 months old and is now approaching 4 years old at 40K miles and still shows 31 miles when fully charged.

My PHEV is now 3yrs old with 7k on the clock on full charge now shows 31m but on occasions 30m
Now, is that actually 31 0r 30.99 or the 30 actually 30.99. Does it get rounded up or rounded down.?
It's more beneficial to drive economically. You will get more miles less wear and less stress

I take what the dash says purely as a guide.
