Just thinking about how much our holiday fuel cost.
1000 mile trip.
£80 worth of public charger network ( mostly Tesla member rates)
= 8p / mile ??
Seems reasonable.
To be fair I'd charged to 100% on solar before leaving and upon return, so freebies and paid £9 Tesla monthly subscription, but still. ?.
My last ICE was a Merc ML500 returning sub 20mpg - requiring 3 x £95 fills to cover my 500 mile round trip prior to EV.
The impression that EVs pay for themselves is certainly strong ??
Ah no, angonasec - forgot £33 worth of fastneds ?.
Soooo.
1000 mile trip at £113.
= 11.3 ppm - gutted !!!
?
Just worked out the Merc would've cost £560 for same trip at £1.50/litre ?....then there's motorway prices.
56ppm!!
