A surprise from Ohme

Whilst I'm still waiting on Arnold Clark to pull their finger out and even look at my car, I figured I'd address an issue that started to raise its head a few months ago, but finally came to a head just recently.

I had an Ohme Pro charger fitted a few years ago, and it's been absolutely fine over that time period. But then I ran into a problem with the small screen on the front of the unit. Over a period of maybe 6 weeks or so, the screen slowly started to fail, to the point it's now unreadable.

I figured I had nothing lose by contacting Ohme, so I emailed them through the app. They asked for some details and then confirmed they'd "arranged for that to be sent, please advise once installed".

I was expecting a replacement screen, possibly with some fitting instructions for a spark to follow...

They sent out an entire new charging unit ???

If only AC/MG went to the same customer service course Ohme use.
 
I have this charger, while expensive, it’s good to know they’ve got good warranty coverage on them.
