MG4 Trophy LR
I have an MG4 Trophy and have noticed (now we finally have some warmer weather) that the AC lowest temperature is 17 degrees at which point the display shows Lo. It won't go any cooler. I wondered if it might be a feature of Eco mode but it's the same in Normal. It's not a big deal but does anyone know if this is a bug or a feature? Thanks

Teslabjorn on YouTube did a test (in an MG4 I think) where he measured the temperature ... the setting on the AC was the temperature of the air as it left the vents, not the central cabin temperature. His comment was that this was typical for Chinese cars.

Every car I've had with electrically controlled AC has displayed to "LO" when turned down below 17c or 16C.
Most of my cars have shown around 4C vent temperature (non calibrated thermometer) when run on LO for at least 10 minutes, the ZS did, I haven't actually tested the 4 yet.

Yeah but it’s not as simple as that:
In the user manual you will see a temperature setting slider with the number 22 written in place of the 25 you get now when the slider is in the middle. And internal temperature as read by the internal sensor matches that reading for me. Which means his analysis is not universal.
