Hi.
I'm new to this forum. I purchased a new MG HS PHEV this month and noticed on several occasions that it would give a message stating ACC not available and something else I think it was LKA.
I have read on the forum that it could be the camera obstructed, so each time the warning appeared I would stop the car and check the camera has no obstruction. There were none. I checked the radar on the bottom of the bumper, and this was also clean.
I booked it in to the dealer for them to have a look at it, but they came back with no fault found, and it was normal for this to happen.
I did not understand how this could be normal.
If the camera can see the road markings, then it is not obstructed. If the screen is clear, the camera has no obstruction, and yet the dealer insists the camera must have been obstructed.
I did take pictures of the clean camera and the dash but still insisted this is normal.
Is he correct?
Any advice or insight would be appreciated as I do not have any confidence that the safety systems are working as they were intended.
