I suspect though that instead they would be Jag priced re-badged MGs

Strange how the wheel goes round, SS (the forerunner of Jaguar before the Nazis precipitated the need for a rebrand ) were tarted up versions of cars like Austin and Standard, then we've had tarted versions of Ford's, so a tarted Chinese or Indian product would be consistent. Tata Nano anyone?
