Amazon Music - worked for months, now not!

It did work last year until Amazon changed the service so you can only get random play on Prime now. I think the unlimited service might work but like you I'm not willing to pay for that, I have spotify and that is fine with Android Auto.

Same here. Amazon worked ok on our Trophy until some time last year. Since then we can't play any songs or playlists at all, it says something like "song no longer available" and Amazon music then freezes so I have to go through the faff of hitting the car tab and selecting radio.

I have read through the thread and it looks like a major c**kup for MG to lock the car audio into Amazon Music unlimited only. Market it completely useless for most people. Not sure whether there's a tie-up between MG and Amazon but it is absolutely pointless the way things stand currently.

When you click on music it locks my infotainment out . The this is the connect was sold for this purpose to use Amazon music . We all paid an extra £500 for this feature and now doesn’t work.

Since having the mg zs ev lr trophy connect the infotainment has never had a software update.

All Mg seem to do is mess the ISMART app up ?

This box appears saying "expired music", and the buttons have nothing in them, you cant click on them, and then they stay until the car or headunit is reset. This happens on anything I click on and it locks up the application.

I think this is due to Amazon changing how their music service works, not MG.

I have received a ZS EV LR Connect Trophy 2022 as a company car, and the infotainment system doesn't even have Amazon Music.
