Android Auto/Carplay and HVAC controls

We just picked up our new ZS Hybrid +, and we have noticed one thing: The controls for the A/C can be mapped to the star buttons on the steering wheel, which is great, BUT if you are using AA or Carplay, the button does nothing. you need to press the home button on the centre console and THEN press the star button, But once you are on the home screen, you can just press the HVAC button ... anyone else has this? or just us?

Overall its a good upgrade from the previous ZS that we got just over 2 years ago.

On the MG3 Hybrid, I had to map the AC to the right star button to work when Android auto is on. It does appear on the screen with Android auto active, but the toggle will operate the system.

by default its mapped to the right button, I will have to have a play and see if it can be remapped etc.

Remapped and still does not work from android auto.

Is it running in the background, without showing up on the display? That's how mine works. Best way to check is to press the star button and toggle the centre toggle to the right hand side, that should increase the fan speed, and you should be able to hear the fan getting nioser.

Yep just tested and it does work, However I have logged it with MG directly, as its still a bug due to not displaying the info

MG said that its the same on their demo models but they want the car back to check it over ...>.< anyone else have this?
