I’m coming up to my 1 year service schedule and wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations for a good dealer experience within North West of England?

The MG dealership we went too wasn’t the best experience and I’m hoping to get a software update too and I’ve read it can get missed so just seeing if anyone can recommend anywhere good.

Not in the NW so sorry I can't answer, but did you have a 1000 mile check or anything or is this the first time you'll have been into a dealer?

.... they should be all the same - just go local & see what happens (I've deliberately kept off until 24 months), but am undecided to go with a Cumbrian or WestMidlands one in the next month or so?

I just bought my car from MG Chorley m, they are part of the Chorley group but actually the garage in Chorley. (second attempt after using perrys Preston first - avoid by all costs)
They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. Would recommend them and will be using them for servicing myself

Ah, didn't know about a 1,000 mile check?

My car has done just over 2,000 miles now.

And would be first time going in since purchase.

Mg Stockport gets a thumbs up from me
I found them good too - although it did take them most of the day and I got bored wandering around stockport in the drizzle :ROFLMAO: (I planned to go and do some work in Costa, but there's only so much coffee you can take).

I direct your attention to today's BOFH on The Register.
