Battery (12V)

Dose anyone know what type of 12V battery is fitted to the mg hs phev. Is it AMG, EFB or what; none of the battery supplies seem to know and it doesn't say on the battery .

I’m pretty sure they fit a nasty cheap standard flooded lead acid 027 the same as my MG4 (oh has plug hs phev). Tayna batteries list AGM 027 for the car which arrived- they have good prices too. As I understand you can upgrade so go from flooded to efb or agm but not the other way. Personally when I get my 4 back - long story - before winter I’m putting an agm on.

Yes you are correct, I've fitted a EFB Yuasa 65Ah 027 battery from Amazon. They were cheaper than Tayna.
