Battery charge

Hi everyone!

Just got a ZS Hybrid + and loving it, but a bit puzzled by the EV vs. HEV ‘mode’, as EV only seems to become available after you drive for some time, suggesting the battery is not charged enough at the beginning of each journey.

Is anyone else experiencing the same and, most importantly, how do you know how much is the battery charged?

There is a menu in which the charge level of the battery is displayed.

You can access the menu via the steering wheel. Unfortunately, I can't speak much English, so I can't explain it to you in detail.

There are several buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Press the button under the phone symbol once, then move the joystick twice to the right and then up or down.

Can you tell where that is or send me a pic? The one where it gives you tyre pressures seems to refer to the standard battery voltage? See attached pic.

I'm confused with the battery charge and also had the loss of power when overtaking today. Does anyone know what the orange bars indicate on the RHS of the fuel gauge? The 6 bars are very small and mine seems to show between 2 and 5 lit as I drive but is 2 lit bars higher charge or lower. would be much easier to judge where you stand if this was a clear % of a full charge.

No, unfortunately that is not the charge. On the other side where the tachometer is, it is the same, the higher the speed, the more small bars.
