Best decision ZS EV long range

Re Title: Was going to get MG HS + ev, fortunately got our ZS EV LR for only $1k more.. Very happy with

Our MG ZS Long range has just hit 10,000 kms.. With a total cost of $361.66. $326. 95 of that was on a 5000 km trip over 19 days (Jan/Feb) and used fast/ultra chargers etc so the other 5000 km cost $34.71 Pretty happy with consumption (see pic) as over 7000 km was highway (100 & 110 kmh)... Not sure why people (regulations) don't get.. Was on a reasonable size Spirit of Tasmania vessel (with car) had the MG running waiting to disembark and worker asked if running and said yes.. They asked to turn off.. Q. Why.. A. because fumes will build up .. Told her it's doesn't have a combustion engine and there are no fume, she went off very unhappy (turned off anyway).. The world really needs some education...

Does the 12V battery charge in utility mode?
The manual p176 implies it does viz:-
Green Light (ON/READY)
• Whilst in the ACC state, pressing the START STOP
button without the footbrake being applied will place
the system in the ON state, the green indicator will
illuminate. This will allow the remaining electrical
systems to operate.
• Pressing the START STOP button with P selected
and the footbrake applied will place the vehicle in
the READY state, the green indicator will illuminate
and the word READY will appear in instrument panel
information display. This indicates that all electrical
