Bluetooth phone calls muted

I bought my mg4 standard 51 last February, no firmware update done yet, suddenly when I receive phone call over Bluetooth the sound become muted so I have to switch to phone speaker, not the best solution while driving. Hopefully there is a quick fix without the need to do a software update.

No I listen to music on my head set, while running normally.
Bluetooth works fine while listening to music or audiobooks in the car but get muted only when I reply to a phone call.

Oh well - just a thought. I also use a BT headset with my phone when out walking the dogs with the phone volume at about 40%, but if I want to listen to BT music in the car (i.e. I haven't plugged the phone into the car to use AA) then I have to turn the volume up on my phone else I can't hear anything in the car.

Looks like the trick was in turning up the volume level in the car after taking the phone call through Bluetooth. I really appreciate your assistance ?

On more recent versions of software you can access various volume settings via the drop-down menu when you drag down from the top left or top right of the screen - NOT the climate control drop-down.

If you can't access that, the various volume options can be set in the Settings menu somewhere, can't remember where exactly but poke about they're easy to find.
