Bms update 2024Hi

Hi everyone, newbie in MG Zs ev and would appreciate some help. Few weeks ago on my way from work, suddenly my Mg zs ev my21, displayed several faults,mostly with driver assistance packages (ACC, Hill Asst,Brake asst, forward collusion warning, e.t.c) not available. I called MG dealer and I was booked for today. They did several updates incuding the BMS update. Got the car,first thing I noticed was that the range has reduced and regen @3 was like 1.very Weak. My question is, are MG dealers still giving customers the quack Bms update? My SOH also went from 93.74 to 92.72 . Is this normal? Thanks in advance for your help.

Regen @3 depends on your battery charge - if your dealer charged your ZS to 100%, you will not feel anything, regen starts after the main battery is ready to accept more charge. Next, if the battery is below 80% charge, can you feel any difference between 1, 2 and 3 settings?

SoH might have been updated after the software update, I can't think of anything else to cause it.

Thanks for your input, I took the car for a 160km trip today on one charge,even at 3 bars left on slow road the regen was still weak,the car was drifting like an ICE car, no friction to slow or stop the car at regen 3.

That doesn't sound right. Maybe they left off a cable or something at the recent service?

I would drive it a few more days and if no improvement I will have to contact the garage again. There is something definitely not right.
