Any recommendation for the brake light replacement LED which I understand to be w21/5w size.
Nearly all the ones I have seen look amberish rather than red in the photos... Either that or its just me being colour blind.
Any recommendations?

I very recently watched an interesting video on You Tube about the use of LED lamps.
New regulations released this month ( Jan 2021 ) regarding LED lamps fitted in head lights.
It has now become an MOT failure if LED lamps are installed.
These will be picked up when the headlight alignment check is done.
You could always switch back to the OEM lamps for the MOT of course ?.
Not sure if other lamps are included in the checks ( yet ).

"These bulbs will give a greater light output (750 Lumens) than the standard bulb (300-400 Lumens) but use much less power - a win win!"

These are the ones I fitted. They're very bright and if you change your rear side lights to LED as well, they match the colour and brightness of these.

Which rear side lights did you use?

Hi Abu. When it is tail or stoplight you are going to change, then it is always red you go for:-) good luck with you project:-)

Thanks Sam... Today I tried these ones in red and weren't impressed..

..but I noticed the original ones are clear bulbs W5W... so going to try white LEDs when they arrive and see the difference.

Is the original brake light a red bulb or is it clear?

Has anyone bothered with fogs? Are they clear bulbs?

Jeps is right, you should always use red LED's.
The ones I linked are very bright and look fantastic in the light unit.

I haven't replaced the fog light bulbs with LED as they're vary rarely used so can't see the point. There are some very bright LED bulbs I found on eBay for the fog lights when I was originally toying with the idea of changing them.
