Can’t start AC remotely using the app when charging? I’m getting “error 255”

Tried multiple times to turn on the AC while charging through the app remotely, hoping to be more efficient use of energy etc. Tesla next door doing exactly this, sunny day etc. but no, Error 255.

Only worked when I stopped charging and tried again to turn it on through the app. So now using the car power rather than pre-cooling on Charger power… so many things like this with the MG seems crazy they don’t work…

That happened to me with the heater back in January. I was able to start charging again after starting the HVAC system.

You will damage the charger , wait till it's charged or go for a walk or cafe

Tesla are getting bad publicity, catching fire, charge sockets, etc etc. MG are far better designed. Especially the MG5 .

Not ideal but I think you can turn on the ac first and then start charging. Mine works that way but the AC turns off after 10 mins.
