Hi Everyone, I’ve been using Carlinkit box for sometime now, it connects fine when I plug it in, but there is a problem when I switch the engine off. When I switch the engine back on, the Carlinkit didnt connect automatically, which I need to unplug, and plug it back in. Is there anybody with the same problem? If so, is there anyway for me to fix this?

Just search this board (or the Accessories board) for Carlinkit ... there are numerous threads on this subject. :)

(Hint: set a start up delay in the device).

If it's a version 5.0 you will need to set a delay on start up to allow the car to boot up properly before it tries to connect to the car. No idea how to do it as on the 4.0 it doesn't need to wait but there are threads that should tell you how to sort it.

In order to be able to connect to the Carlinkit, it need to be in a different status, that how it is when connected to the car.
So you need to power it with an external power supply (i.e. a 5V charger) and then you'll see its WiFi SSID and be able to connect to it using the IP.

Im Using the Carlinkit Ambient Box the SLM927 I dont know if anybody is using the same model as I did.

means that I need to unplug it from the car and power it up with a USB adapter?

I think thats the same model I have, it does not have the boot up delay setting, I ended up getting a USB cable with a rocker switch, I just turn it off when exiting and turn it on when I get in (I could just toggle it when I get in), not ideal but its a lot easier than unplugging and replugging
