I'd be interested to read how other people have gotten on with CCS Charging in Europe in a non updated pre-facelift MG5.

I've tried a couple so far, the Super U CCS chargers and the cheapo IECharge network without any success in getting them to connect or charge.

I'm guessing it's down to the same issue that prevents us oldie MG5 from using the Tesla network.

If anyone can suggest a CCS network in France and Belgium that will work with a non-updated MG5 I'd really appreciate hearing from you!

Hi, what networks have you used that work fine?
The Electroverse app covers a number of networks that should work fine in Europe.

Appreciate the answers however I'm well sorted with electroverse and chargemap card, that's not been the issue.

The question was about what chargers the PFL MG5 with the old hardware would connect to and work.

The two networks I've tried so far, Super U and IECharge do not appear to have chargers that are compatible with old CCS standard that the MG5 uses.

I was hoping someone who had more success Charging on CCS would be able to tell what chargers they had used.

I shall have to do some more investigations.

If you read my travel blog quoted by Gomez, you will find many answers!

Not tried any Super U CCS chargers or the IECharge network, but sometimes it's about technique rather than just CCS compatibility.
