CD USB

i have just been searching the www for "retrofit CD USB players". They are well-received by those who still want in-car CD music. However, when checking a model's compatibility, MG either comes as not listed or not compatible. Has anyone found a system that will work on an MG5 LR pre-facelift? or a way to get around this incompatibility? Thanks!

If it's not listed then that probably simply means that they haven't tested it to confirm. For the price of some of these players you could probably buy one online, test it, and if it doesn't work just return it?

I had a conversation on Twitter with someone who had fitted such a player to an MG4. She had managed to stick it UNDER the central console, although I'm slightly hazy as to how, and she shared a photo of it. It looked very neat and she said it worked well.

Unfortunately I've lost access to my Twitter account so I can't look it up for you, but at least you know it can be done.
