Centre console - how to pull it apart?

Hi all.
Being a suave sophisticated bloke, I carry a man-bag, but there's no-where in the ZS to put it (other than the floor on the passenger side). I was thinking that I might pull apart the centre console, get rid of the sliding top and the folding lid sections and make a "open bucket" for my bag. However, I'm stumped about getting the console apart. I've found two M6 hex head bolts in the folding lid section, but they don't seem to release anything. Any ideas?

I was thinking the same, if it's a bag, it has a strap, so a hook would do the job.
