Any idea why we can't?
Outlanders apparently had a history of getting bricked at these chargers, so likely they got fed up of the tow aways.
Not sure about MGs
I doubt that's authorised by the charging company, and probably needs reporting as MGs shouldn't be getting issues there.
The Outlander doesn't have CCS and the issues were when the cars were plugged into Chadomo and it was reported that is was caused by errors in how the charger adjusted the DC voltage. Nothing to do with CCS at all.Outlanders apparently had a history of getting bricked at these chargers, so likely they got fed up of the tow aways.

I don't recall saying anything about CCS ?The Outlander doesn't have CCS and the issues were when the cars were plugged into Chadomo and it was reported that is was caused by errors in how the charger adjusted the DC voltage. Nothing to do with CCS at all.
The MG problem is believed to be similar to that introduced into the Tesla network when they upgraded/changed their software and caused all the problems.
Nope. Charging at a Tesla charger with a ZS without the fix means that it just doesn't work. You can drive off.Could all this be the same or similar issue that some people have with Tesla chargers?
Are there any that charged at either side of Eurotunnel without any problems and which model please?
If you have the European cover extension they will.Question:
people mention having to call AA when stuck in Calais - I just called MG/AA 0800 breakdown number and they said they only cover UK breakdowns.
Is that correct? How did they manage to get AA recovery in France? Separate AA cover or car insurance extra?
