Hi.
Have now been able to get a wall charger so the search is on for the car (Won't be new).
However on reading the manual online it has a bit about charging which I'm confused about or am I being stupid!
The first one is about the charging port will lock when the car is locked and if the car is then unlocked the charging will stop?
However it then says further down about fast or rapid charging that if the car is unlocked to check it will stop but then restart after a minute?
I suppose the question is if I'm out and want to charge can I grab a coffee and then park up for a charge and sit in the car can you do so?

Yes you can. Doing good research is important but It's easy to over read many things which then make it sound complicated. It isn't. In practice you will find it easy. Basically think of it like this, when you unlock the car it pauses for a short while in case you want to unplug the cable, if you don't it carries on.
I'm sure someone will add more scenarios to try and complicate/clarify various circumstances but don't worry.

I'm fairly sure that when I'm away from home and charging on a rapid charger it doesn't normally need the car to be locked. I've definitely sat in the car drinking a coffee while it charges.
