Is there a way to see how many kWh for a charge?
My wife is away for the weekend, and the hotel she is staying at have said she can use the Granny charger, and to just pay for what she puts in the car.
However, I've only ever seen battery% in the car and app, not the actual kWh...

You would probably have to plug in an OBD II dongle and use the eZS app to see the kWh.

I use slow granny charger, in 5 hours it adds about 12.8 kWh and charges at around 2.5 kWh per hour.

I think the theoretical maximum is 3kWh an hour, so to avoid arguing over 50p, just go along with that. Best to agree the hours and charge in advance so no arguments and nasty surprises on the day.

The other guesstimate way to do it might be....

Knowing
A) how many miles you did since your last charge before you got there filling to the same point(%).

B) Your rough miles per kWh used (eg 3.4 miles/kWh) to then work it out..

Eg 200 miles/ 3.4 miles/kwWh = 58.82 kWh (x 1.10 to add 10% energy transfer loss if a fast 7kW charger = 64kWh).
So in this example either 58.82kWh or 64kWh times the rate they charge.

I ended up using the approximation that on the ZS EV LR, 10% is roughly 7.3 kWh, and my wife topped up about 11% so let's call it 8kWh!

We stay at a cottage sometimes and the owners let us charge up. We use the same process, it is a bit of a ready reckoner but works fine +/- a few pence.
