HI Folks
I I've just had fitted an Roadangel.Halo pro dash cam to my 2022 MG ZS ev
Both front and rear so far so good …. I am well pleased..However, it has this thing called parking mode where the cam stays on and monitors the perimeter of your car when your not in it.
I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. It feels like I'm teaching my grandma to suck eggs.
So they hard wired the cam into the fusebox but the cam turns off when the car turns off
So on phoning the shop everyone was very busy and they basically told me that when they had researched fitting this particular dash cam into a this particular car,
MG told him that it couldn’t be done as there are areas around the fusebox that are off limits to all but MG technicians and any access to non MG staff strictly forbidden .
Is this guy pulling my leg or is there something between MG and the dealers and independent Auto shops like the one I used here.
Or is it just a matter of finding a fuse which is on constantly?

But the way it wasn’t cheap he knows how to charge
