Deep sleep mode

I have a load balancing charging station. When i take too much energy for inside use, the charging station stops powering my Mg zs ev. When he wants to restart charging, the car is in 'deep sleep' mode, so it won't charge. this makes the process of charging the car annoying and it takes quite a bit of effort and planning. Is there a way to restrict the 'deep sleep' mode?
When the car is in deep sleep, the Blue lights in front of the charging port are off.

What EVSE do you have and has the car had all the updates?

If you set a charging schedule to allow charging, then charging will restart as soon as the power becomes available again. I get the same effect when charging from solar.

If you just 'start charge', then as soon as the power stops being provided the car thinks that charge session is over, so it doesn't start again when power returns.

Hi all, does anyone know how long it takes for the car to enter deep sleep mode (or where I can find that info)? I just can't seem to find it.
I have created a system where I plug the car in after I get home from work but I don't start charging. The plug is just sitting in the car. Then at 7am when the solar is strong, the EV charger turns on. However, the car won't seem to charge and I think it is because of this sleep mode issue. If I know how long it takes for sleep mode to activate, then I can adjust my routine.

I use timer on my charger to start and stop charging on off-peak tariff and I never had issues with car not starting to charge, whenever I plug it in... could it be something to do with your charger setup? Not even sure what is deep sleep mode? I assumed once infotainment screen is off, the car is already in "sleep" mode?

Thanks Fred. I've tried it a few times and have just made adjustments to the EvChargo app. I have my fingers crossed that it'll work tonight.
