Deleting addresses from the sat nav

I would welcome advice please on how to delete obsolete addresses from my HS PHEV Exclusive that I purchased in July last year.
I have looked at the information in the book provided but can’t seem to raise the screen that’s shown in there under ‘with a planned route ‘ which then shows option 4 as delete.
When my children or older grandchildren are in the car they are not at all impressed with the car sat nav and plug in their or my iPhone to Appleplay and use the Google maps.
I had and used sat navs in my two previous land rovers without any problems at all. They were simple to set up and faultless in use.

Have you saved any of the locations as "Favourites". If you have then when you select it, on the bottom right hand corner is a tab. Touch this and select "edit". Follow prompt....success.
If not then you can do same in "routes".

To delete history (previous entered location):-
1. Open navigation
2. Press bottom right corner ‘3 bars’ button then ‘New Route’
3. Press ‘History’
4. Press bottom right corner ‘arrow up’ button
5. Press ‘Edit’
6. Press an item and press ‘delete’
7. Repeat on each item if necessary

To delete saved locations:-
1. Open navigation
2. Press bottom right corner ‘3 bars’ button then press ‘star’ button on bottom centre of screen
3. Select one of your saved location then press bottom right corner ‘arrow up’ button
4. Press ‘remove saved location’
5. Repeat on each saved location if necessary
